Café Don Benjie farm is a 33-hectare coffee plantation that rests in the breathtaking Chiriquí Highlands, nestled in the Bajo Mono Canyon near Boquete and the Barú Volcano's slopes.

The farm flourishes beside the pure Caldera River, with elevations ranging from 1400 to 1600 meters. Bajo Mono is renowned for cultivating exceptional coffees, benefiting from volcanic soil, pristine spring water, and the legendary Bajareque mist. These elements form a multitude of microclimates that have made the region famous for its specialty coffee production.
In 1914, the de Dianous Family arrived in Boquete, where Gabriel de Dianous acquired the first coffee farm in Bajo Mono. Since then, the family has remained dedicated to the coffee industry.

In 2011, the new owners, Jose Benjamin de Dianous G. and Stefan Arwed Müller, took over the operations of the farm, committed to upholding quality and environmental preservation.

As a tribute to Mr. Benjamin de Dianous Henriquez, affectionately known as Don Benjie in Boquete, our brand and commercial name became Café Don Benjie. Mr. Benjamin de Dianous has always been a coffee enthusiast, actively contributing to the town of Boquete and its coffee industry.
